Scientists discover a mysterious volcano in the deep ocean off the west coast of Australia. This discovery is considered quite extraordinary. Cone-shaped volcano, with a length of 800m and 200m height was found 2 km below sea level, and 100 nautical miles offshore in the Gulf of protected areas of Australia.
The scientists came to the Southern Surveyor volcanic fire that is now given the name “Anna Pimple” when mapping the sea floor in the Benthic Protection Zone. The findings were interesting because the area was thought to have a flat seabed.
It was quite deep and may have never taken the fish, or being touched by people since being created (48 million years ago). The volcano is probably home to some unique creatures, where the surrounding area has shown a strange animal samples, such as “brittle star” creatures such as starfish.
